CPPFES2005 – Demonstrate First Attack Firefighting Equipment

This First Attack Firefighting Training course applies to individuals who may need first attack firefighting skills in community or workplace settings. Furthermore, it prepares participants to respond to small fires using fire extinguishers, fire blankets and fire hose reels.

In addition, the course includes easy online pre-course learning followed by a practical face-to-face session. As a result, participants gain hands-on experience using real firefighting equipment rather than relying only on simulated training.

Assessment Activities

Practical Demonstrations

• Respond to a fire emergency
• Demonstrate correct use of firefighting equipment
• Respond to a small flammable liquid fire
• Respond to a metallic fire
• Use a fire hose reel

Theory Assessment

The theory assessment includes multiple-choice and short-answer questions.

Training and assessment are delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

Certification

Certificates are usually issued on the same day. However, they may also be issued the following day or on a Monday if training is completed on a Friday afternoon.

Course Duration

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons. Therefore, the durations below are the minimum possible amounts.

• Face-to-face minimum duration: 180 minutes
• Online with face-to-face assessment: Face-to-face contact time of 90 minutes. This is the option offered on this page.

Attendance Requirements

Please ensure you do not arrive late. Sessions start strictly on time and, as a result, late arrivals may forfeit fees if rescheduling is not possible.
