PUAFER005 & PUAFER008 Course Set
The Fire Warden and Fire Extinguisher Training course combines PUAFER005 and PUAFER008 into one practical workplace emergency response program. This course prepares participants to respond to emergencies, operate within an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO), and safely manage small workplace fires.
In addition, the course includes online pre-learning followed by a hands-on practical assessment. As a result, learners gain both theoretical knowledge and real emergency response experience.

Entry Requirements
Participants must have the physical ability to complete practical training, including:
- Using fire extinguishers
- Assisting occupants during emergencies
- Communicating during incidents
- Completing hands-on emergency tasks
Pre-course study: Students may be required to complete online pre-course work before attending the practical session, depending on the delivery mode.
Online study: Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other device with internet access to complete online learning.
