CPR and LVR Course

HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation & UETDRMP018 Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel

This CPR and LVR Course is designed for electricians, electrical contractors and workers who perform live electrical work or work around live switchboards. Furthermore, the course combines nationally recognised CPR training with Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) skills to prepare participants for electrical emergencies.

Throughout this CPR and LVR Course, participants learn how to safely perform a rescue from a live low voltage panel, administer CPR, operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and provide emergency care until professional assistance arrives. As a result, participants gain the practical skills needed to meet workplace safety requirements and industry standards.

In addition, the course covers workplace health and safety responsibilities, risk management procedures and mandatory Low Voltage Rescue requirements. Training follows Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines while also meeting industry expectations for electrical workers.

Low Voltage Rescue involves responding quickly to save life or prevent serious injury during an electrical incident. Therefore, this course is an essential qualification for anyone working on or near live low voltage electrical equipment.
