Setting<\/h2>\n<p>This <strong>Childcare First Aid Training<\/strong> course gives educators, childcare workers, teachers, education support staff and carers the skills to respond to first aid emergencies involving infants, children and adults. <strong>Furthermore<\/strong>, the course follows Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines, legal requirements and workplace procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As a result<\/strong>, participants can respond more confidently during medical emergencies in education and care settings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition<\/strong>, participants learn how to recognise illness and injury, contact emergency services, perform CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), administer asthma medication and use adrenaline auto-injectors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Throughout the course<\/strong>, you will also learn basic anatomy and physiology, the differences between adult, child and infant CPR, the Chain of Survival, and delivered at an Emcare WA Pty Ltd training facility or onsite for schools, childcare centres and workplace groups. <strong>Alternatively<\/strong>, participants may complete the online learning component before attending the practical assessment.<\/p>\n<h2>Course Duration<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Online with face-to-face:<\/strong> Pre-course online learning followed by a one-hour practical assessment session.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Face-to-face:<\/strong> Minimum duration of 8 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Work Placement Arrangements<\/h2>\n<p>No work placement is required for this course.<\/p>\n<h2>Entry Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>Participants must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be physically capable of completing practical demonstrations, including two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor
